Do you have anxious attachment?

Heather believes many of our concerns are related to underlying attachment wounds we’ve accumulated throughout life. She loves to educate clients about attachment and help them learn how to make healthy choices and set healthy boundaries in relationships.

Approach that don't really work

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

How can I help

Heather’s approach is mindfulness-based and person-centered. This means that she takes her cues from you and each client gets a custom blend of approaches based on what works for them as an individual. Some of Heather’s favorite approaches and techniques include: meditation instruction, cognitive-behavioral approaches, educational discussions and book recommendations, Internal Family Systems or “parts work”, Law of Attraction, positive psychology and holistic health coaching. Heather helps clients choose a focus for the week so that progress happens faster and benefits from sessions last longer.

Heather is pretty casual and likes to make new clients feel welcome and at home in the coaching relationship. It doesn’t have to be a scary or intimidating process–you can expect some humor during sessions! She can be described as progressive in her views and incredibly open-minded (top 1% in Openness on the Big 5 Personality Test), so you can expect a non-judgmental attitude no matter what you bring to sessions.
